E.ON is an international, privately owned energy supplier based in Essen, Germany, and has around 43,000 employees. As with any global powerhouse, E.ON delivers only the highest quality in everything they do, and digital display media is no exception.
The E.ON brand is safeguarded by a team of brand guardians, and for anyone who has worked on a brand of this magnitude, you can bet that their brand guidelines are no joke. To be able to react to an ever changing energy market, E.ON needed a template that could be updated dynamically to coincide with the different marketing routes and initiatives going on at any single time.
Since all E.ON campaigns are built as dynamic, programmatic, Google ads, the complex code is easy to update and traffick using a combination of Google studio and Google sheets. The result was a series of stunning campaigns, with eye-catching, unique and coherent animations across a global market.
Lines, lines, everywhere
Believe it or not, we needed to adhere to guidelines that dictated not only the size and colour of the lines that could be on the screen at any time, but also the speed and position that eash line should take in relation to other lines. The result is a visually stunning display that is unmistakably E.ON!
