Use the Best Network for Data—#dontbeamelt

If you live and work in the UK, there is little chance that you managed to escape Love Island. Obviously, we don’t mean that you were literally marooned on a island called love. We only mean that you were metaphorically stranded there for two months this summer, while an undefined group of twenty-somethings competed for each other’s hearts and the all-powerful influencer glory on live, reality TV.  Well literal and metaphorical meanings aside, THREE mobile network really got in on the action when they designed their “don’t be a melt” campaign and we were pleased as punch to be involved.

This campaign was a rich media, banner campaign; which included a video component for the desktop banners.  In order to  be sure that these banners also provided a seamless love island experience on mobile, we also included a sneaky sprite-sheet animation for the mobile MPUs.

There is something undeniably cool about these units. Be it picking up on the inflatable trend with not-so-subtle, droopy palm trees, or the hilarious kissy statue, THREE’s campaigns are always created with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Something we don’t know anything about here at The Bannermen.
